The breakdown of where children enrolled in child care programs in Vermont spend their time within the state’s mixed delivery system is illustrated below. The vast majority (85%) of children in December 2021 were enrolled in center-based child care programs, followed by registered family child care programs (13%), with less than 2% of children enrolled in licensed family child care programs.
